This class is being taught by Bandleader Evan!

This class will be taught by Bandleader Evan!  Evan is such a fantastic teacher Dan hired him TWICE, once for “Ramblin’ Dan” and once eight years ago for another program Dan used to manage! His vast experience includes teaching four different children’s music programs and he even designed his own yoga program for toddlers!  Evan has an infectious energy coupled with a nurturing soft side that easily wins kids over. Not to mention, this guy can play! Evan is an outstanding guitarist, pianist and singer and is always involved with multiple musical projects. A creative force, he is fresh off finishing a grant for writing music in Charleston, South Carolina, and just returned to NYC to work on a podcast featuring his own original literature. We’re thrilled to have him leading classes for us!

Social Distance And Safety Requirements

FYI - All Ramblin' Dan Teachers are fully vaccinated

1. MASKS?

- As these classes are outside, we are NOT asking people to wear masks UNLESS your child is often wandering into other peoples’ spaces and you need to go get them and in doing so get very close to other people who are NOT in your pod.

-No matter what, children under 2 should not wear masks per CDC guidelines.

-If your child is two or older, and wants to be very social very often (which is a GREAT thing!) and is constantly going on others’ blankets, then you may need to consider having them wear a mask so they can roam freely and not worry other parents who could be trying to social distance.

2. SOCIAL DISTANCING

-Please feel free to sit close with any of your friends who are in your "pod"

-Please social distance yourself from all other families, simply by giving yourself a little distance between your blankets when you set up for class.

2A. PLEASE DO NOT LET YOUR CHILD GO ONTO OTHER PEOPLE'S BLANKETS WHO ARE NOT IN THEIR "PODS."

-There are both parents who DO want their kids to mingle with random kids and those who DON'T.  We must respect those who don’t.

You must be very clear to ask other parents if it is ok if your child wants to go into their space. Make it very easy for them to be honest with you and double check they are ok with it.  Otherwise, please just help your child social distance as well.

3. RUNNY NOSE?

There are now more symptoms than ever for covid due to the many variants that exist.  This includes a runny nose.  If there is any sign of sickness by adult or child, they MUST stay home. Whether it's a fever, cough or a runny nose, if you have any sign of sickness you MUST stay home. The teacher will do the same.

Liability Waiver

By signing up for and attending these classes, you Release Ramblin Dan LLC from any liability for any reason whatsoever for any Health related issue that may arise as a result of you attending the class and specifically as it relates to Covid-19 and weather.  We require adults and children over 4 to wear masks and also require that all attendees social distance during class.  We will do everything to be safe on our end, but ultimately you come to class at your own risk during this unique and trying time.
