With special guests John Popper (Blues Traveler), Scott Metzger (JRAD), and Jennifer Hartswick & Natalie Cressman (Trey Anastasio Band), "Freeride" is a genre-hopping joyride through rock 'n' roll, reggae, New Orleans swing, funk, hip hop, jazz, gospel, folk, and bluegrass.​​

In addition to the usual Rock & Roll Instrumentation, “Freeride” features a horn or string section on 21 of the tracks. In 2018, Ramblin Dan Set the scene for taking the NYC kids Music Community by storm with this Seven Song EP.
